DES MOINES, Iowa (WHO) — Emergency crews were called to the scene of a partial trench collapse that trapped a sewer worker on the southeast side of Des Moines Friday morning.
Ahman Douglass of the Des Moines Fire Department tells WHO 13 the call about the incident in the 2600 block of Driftwood Avenue came in just before 10:00 a.m. Friday. A sewer company was performing excavating work when there was a partial collapse, trapping a man up to his waist.
