DES MOINES, Iowa — Several outdoor events across the metro are adjusting their plans as dangerous cold settles in for yet another weekend.
At Water Works Park, home to Tinseltown, organizers have had to adapt quickly, canceling this weekend’s events due to the cold.
That includes the cancellation of the Tinsel Marketplace with vendors, crafts and food originally planned for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday appearances from carolers, Santa and the Grinch are also canceled, as well as Sunday evening’s Tour de Lights…
