An Ames man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly strangling a pregnant Nevada woman near De Soto.
Todd Kevin Vick Jr., 31, of 2279 E. 190th St., Ames, was charged with domestic abuse assault of pregnant person-impeding flow of air/blood, false imprisonment and obstruction of emergency communications.
