Oakridge Neighborhood will receive $1.7 million in federal funds to make energy-efficient upgrades and security enhancements for its 700 residents. The investment will fund new furnaces, water heaters, washers and dryers in apartment homes this winter and includes planned improvements to the nonprofit’s Silver Oaks Senior Living apartments.
