DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa has settled a lawsuit with Menards over claims the home improvement chain misled customers about its rebate program.
The settlement comes after 2020 claims that the company’s advertising for its 11-percent rebate program was misleading to customers.
“Iowans deserve to know the best ways they can spend and save their hard-earned money,” said Attorney General Bird. “We are happy to work with Menards to make sure the details of their rebates are transparent to the many Iowans who shop there and take advantage of the program.”…
