CLIVE, Iowa — Only minor injuries were reported in a collision involving two semis on Interstate 35/80 near Clive early Sunday morning.

At around 3:30 a.m., officers with the Clive Police Department responded to a crash involving two semis on northbound I-35/80 near mile marker 124. The police department said that a semi-truck with no trailer was in the outside lane when it struck a concrete barrier in the construction zone, causing it to then cross over into the inside lane and collide with a semi-truck and trailer.
The driver and passenger of the semi truck were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries, the police department said. The driver of the semi-truck with the trailer was not injured.
