DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police seized two illegally possessed guns from intoxicated individuals in separate “tense” incidents overnight, according to a release from the Des Moines Police Department.
The first incident began just before midnight, when patrol officers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high speed near 6th Avenue and Sheridan Avenue.
