A central Iowa dentist accused of participating in a surgical procedure that ended with the patient’s death is now facing multiple disciplinary charges.
Dr. Robert Wolf of Johnston is charged by the Iowa Dental Board with practicing dentistry, dental hygiene, or dental assisting in a manner that is harmful or detrimental to the public; willful and gross neglect; failure to maintain a satisfactory standard of competency; practicing beyond one’s training; employing or permitting an unlicensed or unregistered to practice dentistry, dental hygiene, or dental assisting, and encouraging, assisting, or enabling the unauthorized practice of dentistry, dental hygiene, or dental assisting…
