WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — In West Des Moines, one family is navigating a life with three children — two of whom are twins, and one whose story starts with a challenge. In 2021, Rick and Jen Baldon found out they were having twins, and doctor’s visits got worse from there.
“Every ultrasound I had after that got a little bit worse,” Baldon said.
