DES MOINES, Iowa — A Des Moines man is facing felony charges following an investigation into violent threats made against Broadlawns Medical Center, according to police.
Officers with the Des Moines Police Department responded to Broadlawns early Tuesday morning after hospital staff reported receiving a threatening phone message. Investigators say the caller claimed he intended to bring a sawed-off shotgun and hand grenades to the hospital to kill people.
