A pedestrian has died after being struck by a truck on Des Moines’ east side.
A Des Moines police news release said officers and fire officials, called to the intersection of Hubbell Avenue and East Douglas Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, found a 67-year-old woman who had been struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck.
She was taken to UnityPoint Methodist Medical Center, where she died of her injuries…
