Iowa’s total tax revenue in 2024 reached $12.7 billion, of which $17.4 million was generated from sales taxes on alcoholic beverages. This amount decreased from $19.7 million collected in the prior year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
