DES MOINES, Iowa — A week after a Des Moines Police Department cadet was arrested for an alleged assault more details are being released.
The DMPD shared that Cadet Dominick Hoffman, 20, had been charged with one count of Simple Assault on January 23. The DMPD stated that Hoffman had been hired in May 2025 and that he had since been placed on administrative leave.
