ADEL, Iowa — Authorities say there were no injuries, but that a home was a total loss after a fire outside Adel Friday afternoon.
The Adel Fire and Police Departments were called to the 21000 block of 290th Street, also called Brickyard Road, outside of Adel, shortly after 4 p.m. on reports of a structure fire.
Adel FD says upon arrival, crews found a fully involved house fire. Mutual aid was requested from surrounding agencies and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say there were no fire hydrants near the structure, requiring water to be shuttled to the blaze from in town…
