DES MOINES, Iowa — A Des Moines man has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with a New Year’s Day shooting that killed one person.
The Des Moines Police Department says officers were called to an apartment in the 300 block of Court Avenue around 2:30 a.m. on January 1 for reports of gunfire. Authorities arrived on scene and located a man who had sustained critical injuries from gunfire.
