Iowa Farm Bureau announces farmers can enroll in Farmer Bridge Assistance Program

The Iowa Farm Bureau announced Monday farmers can begin enrolling in the Farmer Bridge Assistance program.

According to the USDA website, the program provides $11 billion in one-time payments to row crop farmers, such as corn, soybeans, or cotton, to assist farmers in offsetting agricultural losses. An additional $1 billion will be used to assist farmers with specialty crops such as almonds, garlic, and plums.
