MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa — The city of Mitchellville is asking residents to conserve water due to well issues.
According to a release from late Tuesday, the city had identified a problem with one well and coordinated temporary emergency pump service. During that process, however, another well was evaluated and was found to not be producing water are quality levels required for distribution, according to a Wednesday update from the city.
