While we’re partway into 2026, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office recently shared end-of-the-year statistics from 2025.
Sheriff Adam Infante says the department responded to 21,657 incidents last year. He adds that number is an increase of 12.3% from 2024 and over 20% higher than the past two years.
“We’ve been keeping stats for a long time around here and we use these stats to staff, budget and allocate other resources wherever we need to put people or where we need to focus. Across the board, the sheriff’s office is busier and busier than it’s ever been.”…
