PLEASANT HILL, Iowa — The Southeast Polk Board of Education has named Dr. Tony Aylsworth the next superintendent of the school district. Aylsworth is currently the superintendent of Pleasantville Community School District.
Current superintendent Dr. Dirk Halupnik is set to retire at the end of the school year.
During his 12 years with the Pleasantville CSD, Aylsworth led multiple voter-approved bond and levy measures and collaborated with the teachers’ association to “adopt an innovative salary and compensation model,” a press release from the district says…
