Monroe Man Receives Probation for Reaching Speeds of 118 MPH on Highway 163

A Monroe man accused of fleeing from police on Highway 163 last October received probation and a deferred sentencing following a plea agreement.

Twenty-one year old Izaiah Jakob Ulrey pled guilty to one count of eluding, a Class D felony, and had a charge of operating while under the influence dismissed.

A criminal complaint filed in Marion County District Court accused Ulrey of traveling 118 miles per hour in a 65 MPH zone.
