(Van Meter) — Van Meter standout distance runner Lizzy McCann will take her talents to the next level with a recent commitment to Minnesota State.
“I was mainly looking at out-of-state schools, wanted to try a bit of a different area,” McCann told KMA Sports. “I went on a double visit to Winona State and Minnesota State, and then I went to watch the track meet that Minnesota State hosted. I really liked the energy there. I think it was a big part of my decision, just watching how the track meet was run and watching all the athletes.”
