WARREN COUNTY, Iowa — Authorities continue the search for a missing woman, who has Alzheimer’s and went missing in a white Toyota minivan, after the vehicle was found stuck in southern Iowa.
On Thursday, the Warren County CO announced that 78-year-old Cheryl Anderson, of Cumming, had been missing since Tuesday. Authorities say Anderson was last seen leaving her home around 4 p.m. in a white Toyota minivan. Officials say the same vehicle was later spotted by a Clive license plate reader around 4:37 p.m.
The sheriff’s office says Anderson is 5’4″ and heavyset, and was last seen wearing the clothing pictured below. Officials say Anderson likely does not know where she is and is missing needed medication.

Authorities say Anderson has not driven in a few years and has never driven the Toyota minivan. Anderson’s family says she frequents the Jordan Creek area, Maffitt Lake, and Brown’s Woods.
