Polk County offering clinic to resolve low-level warrants

DES MOINES, Iowa — Low-level offenses like running a stop sign or speeding can become a much bigger issue when not taken care of.

“If somebody is getting pulled over and they know they have an outstanding warrant, they could be a danger to the community by trying to elude the police,” said Jerry Evans, Coordinator for the Polk County Criminal Justice Council.
