DES MOINES — North Iowa Area Community College is among four Iowa community colleges that have been awarded a total of nearly $4 million in competitive grants through the state’s Career Academy Incentive Fund to empower more students with pathways to post-secondary success.
The Career Academy Incentive Fund was spearheaded by Governor Reynolds in 2019 and is administered by the Iowa Department of Education. It creates and supports partnerships among community colleges, schools, local businesses and community stakeholders.
