POLK COUNTY, Iowa — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a child reported missing in Grimes Friday morning has died.
At around 6 a.m., the sheriff’s office reported it was searching for a 5-year-old boy with autism who was reported missing. The child was last seen near the area of SE 11th Street and SE Gateway.
