Dave’s Hot Chicken — the smash‑hit Nashville hot chicken brand that ignited a national craze — is officially expanding further into the Des Moines metro. Franchisees Bart Coon and his son, Kegan, plan to bring five locations of the fast‑casual chain to Iowa.
The first Iowa restaurant debuted in Davenport in November 2024, serving the brand’s signature hot chicken tenders, sliders and seven levels of heat. A second followed in Ankeny in December.
