AMES IOWA – Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that left an adult woman and a young child dead.
According to the Ames Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 8:42 p.m. on March 13, 2026, to 3917 Tripp Street in Ames, after receiving a report of a stabbing.
