Second suspect arrested in Jordan Creek shoplifting ring

A Des Moines man was arrested Monday on a Dallas County warrant in connection with a five-month series of grab-and-go thefts in West Des Moines that netted nearly $30,000 in stolen clothing.

Jacoreyuan Darius Carr, 18, of Des Moines was charged with first-degree theft.

According to court records, a series of nine grab-and-go thefts occurred at a store in the Jordan Creek Town Center between March and July and netted $28,706 worth of clothing for the thieves…
