WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Friends, family and community members gathered in central Iowa Saturday to pay tribute to the lives of two Iowa Army Reservists who were killed in action in Kuwait earlier this month.
Maj. Jeffrey O’Brien and Sgt. Declan Coady were both members of the 103rd Sustainment Command. The two soldiers were killed along with four other Des Moines-based soldiers during a drone attack in the early stages of the war with Iran.
