DES MOINES, Iowa– The Animal Rescue League of Iowa hosted its “Eggstravaganza” event, where dogs were able to hunt for eggs while raising money for the ARL.
Neglected puppy sparks push for felony animal abuse law in Iowa
The event cost $10 for a dog to walk on the trail around the ARL, touch the eggs with their nose, then they get to keep the egg and the treat that goes with it.
Attendees could take pictures at special photo locations and have off-leash time in Bailey’s Dog Park, where they could play yard games, enjoy a cash bar, and win raffle prizes.
All proceeds went to help support the ARL’s mission…
