PERRY, Iowa (KCRG) – An Iowa man was sentenced to 50 years in prison Friday in connection to the killing of his wife in March 2025.
76-year-old Richard Hoesing, of Perry, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the killing of his wife, Jean Ann Hoesing. He must serve a minimum of 35 years in prison before being eligible for parole and must pay $150,000 to his wife’s estate.
