Central Iowa elementary principal resigns after superintendent says she was found drunk on school property

BONDURANT, Iowa (KCCI) – Former Morris Elementary principal Carrie Ratliff has resigned, KCCI reports. An investigation alleges she was drunk at school, Bondurant-Farrar Community School District Superintendent Rich Powers shared.

“In March 2026, the employee was investigated and found to have been under the influence of alcohol on school property,” Powers said. “The District publicly accepted Ms. Ratliff’s resignation on March 30th.”…
