DES MOINES, Iowa — A body found in the Des Moines River last week has been identified as belonging to a missing man.
On the morning of March 25, the Des Moines Police Department and Des Moines Fire Department responded to a report of a body in the river near Court Avenue.

First responders were able to confirm that the body of an adult man was in the river and were able to recover the body.
On Tuesday, the DMPD identified the body as belonging to 20-year-old Abraham Aguilar, a Des Moines resident. The DMPD said that Aguilar was reported missing on February 17, and efforts to locate him at that time were unsuccessful…
