What started as a pink, 7‑by‑10‑foot drink trailer has quickly grown into one of Huxley’s newest gathering spots.
Lemon & Sips, the family-run drink shop known for its Iowa State Fair‑style lemonades, dirty sodas and iced lattes, opened its brick‑and‑mortar location March 6, less than a year after owner April Estrem first mixed lemonade in her tiny Clear Lake kitchen.
“This was my little dream and it’s already here,” Estrem said. “It hasn’t even been a year.”
