DES MOINES, Iowa — In a growing trend of consolidation, MercyOne announced on Monday the pending closure of both MercyOne South Des Moines Family Medicine and Urgent Care, and laid out plans for the services to transition to other nearby MercyOne Family Medicine practices this summer.
“Our patients remain the top priority, and we’ll work to provide a seamless transition as we navigate this process,” said Katie Fredericks, director of operations for the MercyOne Medical Group.
