DES MOINES, Iowa — The 2026 Iowa State Fair is months away, but some of the best savings are available right now.
Fair officials say advance admission tickets, ride passes, one-day wristbands and value packs can help families stretch their money before the gates open Aug. 13.
The biggest ride deal is the Advance Thrill Pass, which costs $30 for 50 ride credits in Thrill Ville and Thrill Town. The pass can be used any day of the Fair on rides and games, and additional credits can be added later. Fair officials say the pass saves $20 and is only available through Aug. 12…
