DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department says a K-9 has been deployed in the MLK Jr. Park in the search for a wanted person.
Judge imposes maximum sentence on Pieper Lewis for violating parole
Just before 9 p.m., Des Moines Police announced a K-9, on leash, had been deployed in the area of East 17th Street and Garfield Avenue.
Police say the K-9 is searching for a wanted person in connection with a robbery of an individual.
Authorities say the information is being shared for residents’ awareness and no action needs to be taken. Expect an increased police presence in this area as the investigation progresses…
