Man accused of pulling gun on Henry Ford hospital workers arraigned on 9 charges

WARREN, Mich. – A 31-year-old man arrested earlier this month for reportedly brandishing a weapon and threatening three Warren hospital workers is due back in court next week.

Walter Smith was arraigned on nine charges stemming from the June 3 incident, which occurred overnight outside Henry Ford Hospital near 12 Mile and Hoover roads.

Sources told Local 4 that a man approached the three ER workers around 1:30 a.m. while they were taking a routine break. He then began threatening the employees and ordering them not to move while pointing a gun in their direction, police said…
