E-bike injuries rising among kids as Corewell Health doctors warn parents about speed, safety risks

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – E-bikes have exploded in popularity among adults, teens, and even some tweens. But as more people are riding them, injuries have increased, too.

Corewell Health Children’s in Royal Oak reviewed its hospital data and found the troubling trend began three years ago.
