Bedrock Opens The Belle, 42 Apartments and Retail Space Near Detroit Opera

Following a multi-million-dollar historic restoration, Bedrock has opened The Belle in downtown Detroit. It offers 42 apartments along with a two-level retail or restaurant space. Bedrock is owned by Dan Gilbert, founder and chairman of Rocket Cos.

Located at 1346 Broadway St. (at the southeast corner of E. Grand River Avenue near Detroit Opera), The Belle, a 100-year-old Beaux-Arts style building, had been largely vacant before Bedrock acquired it.

Restored by architect Kraemer Design Group with interiors by Pophouse, both located in Detroit, The Belle offers apartment suites ranging from studios to two bedrooms. Design finishes include dark quartz countertops, emerald-green cabinetry, pendant lighting, stainless steel appliances, and more…
