Warren firefighter facing misdemeanor charges

WARREN — A Warren firefighter is facing two misdemeanor charges after he allegedly sent unsolicited and concerning messages on Snapchat to an 18-year-old woman who is a student in the Warren Consolidated Schools district.

On July 1, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido issued a press release to announce that 37-year-old Adam Mazur-Baker was arraigned on two counts related to his alleged messages to the woman.

On June 30, the Warren resident was arraigned before Judge John Chmura at the 37th District Court in Warren. A personal bond was set at $5,000, and Mazur-Baker was ordered to have no contact with the woman. A pretrial hearing will be held before Judge Steven Bieda in the same court.

It is alleged that Mazur-Baker sent the message when the woman was a Warren Consolidated Schools student. The messages continued until the victim blocked him, Lucido stated in the press release…
