A 54-year-old man from South Rockwood was fatally shot Sunday, July 12 at the Downriver Marina in South Rockwood, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
“The case is very active at this time and under investigation,” according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. “Detectives with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case and more information will be disseminated in the coming days.”
Monroe County Central Dispatch received a call shortly after 7:15 a.m. reporting that a man had been shot.
