A 40-year-old man was shot and killed this morning inside an adult foster care home on Detroit’s west side after an argument between two residents escalated into gunfire. The shooting happened around 9 a.m. near Lamphere Street and West McNichols Road, and police have taken a suspect into custody.
According to WDIV ClickOnDetroit, Detroit police said the two men living at the facility got into an argument that ended with one man shooting and killing the other. The outlet reported the suspect was arrested, though further details on charges had not been released as of Thursday afternoon.
