BELLEVILLE, MI — Michigan regulators want tighter operating and monitoring requirements for a century-old hydroelectric dam on Belleville Lake to be part of any new federal license.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) is seeking public comment this month on a draft Clean Water Act certification for the French Landing hydroelectric dam on the Huron River in Wayne County.
