A 21-year-old man who was part of a Macomb County stolen vehicle-business burglary ring was recently sentenced to six to 20 years in prison.
Tijuan Marion Paige received the sentence Aug. 26 from Macomb Circuit Judge Joseph Toia after admitting to his participation in a criminal enterprise that involved the theft of vehicles from auto dealerships that were used to commit more than two-dozen night-time burglaries of eateries and gas stations from Nov. 25 to Dec. 4, 2004, according to court records.
The ring’s break-ins included seven in Troy, six in Farmington Hills, three each in Shelby Township and Southfield, two each in Sterling Heights, Allen Park and Clinton Township, and one each in Warren, Fraser, Clawson, Northville Township and Brighton, according to court documents.
