Oxford school shooter to appeal life-without-parole sentence

New details have emerged in the Oxford school shooting case as the shooter and his lawyers have decided to appeal his life-without-parole sentence — and his new lawyers plan to fight any efforts to get him to testify in his parents’ historic cases.

This news came at an unexpected time Monday, as the jury selection is set to begin for Jennifer Crumbley today. Meanwhile, James Crumbley’s trial is now set for March 5. Both parents maintain that they had no way of knowing their son would shoot up his school, and that the gun at issue was safely stored.
