LIVONIA – A company looking to expand in Livonia by constructing short-term mental health facilities for children may get its hopes dashed. The dorms, proposed by New Oakland Family Centers, would house minors struggling with anxiety or eating disorders. Patients would stay at the facility for 72 hours or less.
