Meek Mill almost fell off the stage while performing during a 42 Dugg concert in Detroit, but was saved by the quick thinking of Gillie Da King
Meek Mill nearly suffered a nasty stage fall, but was saved by the quick reflexes of a fellow Philadelphia rapper.
While performing at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit during the 42 Dugg & Friends Welcome Home Party on Friday, Meek was saved by rapper Gillie Da King from tumbling into the unknown darkness.
The whole thing was caught on camera, as Meek shared the stage with both Gillie and 42 Dugg, who hails from Detroit.
Luckily, all three were able to laugh off the incident and finish their performance. However, it was a rough night for Meek, whose diamond necklace also appeared to break while performing at the show.
Meek has been supportive of Gillie since the death of his son YNG Cheese in July 2023. The 25-year-old, aka Devin Spady, was shot in the back and killed in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. The following day, Meek showed up to support Gillie during the mourning process.
