DUNDEE, Mich. – Right place at the right time. That’s what the Dundee Police Department said about a truck driver making a delivery for Hungry Howies Tuesday morning. Jonathon Garza from Clinton Township was at the Cabela’s and heard a boy screaming for help. He saw the 12-year-old in the middle of an icy pond who had fallen through and was struggling to stay afloat in the 20-foot water.
