Today, I’d like to shed light on the case involving the disappearance of Shayna Jones. Once again, there aren’t many details made available about the circumstances surrounding her mysterious case, but I’ve included what I have been able to find.
According to The Charley Project, Shayna Jones was last seen in Detroit, Michigan, on January 13, 2013. The 24-year-old was reportedly at an apartment directly upstairs from her home. Who that apartment belonged to, why Shayna was there, what time of the day she was seen, and whether or not she was known to be at that location is unknown. Very few details have been shared about Shayna, but that day was the last time anyone has seen or has been able to contact her.
It must also be noted that within the last few years, Shayna’s case has been removed from the government’s National Missing & Unidentified Persons System. However, NamUs nor the Detroit Police Department has given a public update or statement regarding whether or not Shayna is still considered missing. Other outlets have continued to share her story.
